Cand am citit detalii despre acest incredibil concurs, mi-am adus aminte instant de caietele de calatorie ale bunicii mele. Am dat fuga la biblioteca, le-am gasit, si am inceput sa le rasfoiesc. Bunica din partea mamei, careia ii spuneam Baica, isi dorea enorm sa calatoreasca. Se bucura de fiecare data cand auzea ca plecam undeva, oriunde, in strainatate. “Sa calatoriti mult, cat mai mult!” ne spunea. Aceste caiete pline cu notite despre Spania, Franta, Italia, Anglia, Elvetia… le-am gasit intamplator in casa ei abia dupa ce a murit. Nu stiu cand le-a scris, dar mi-o imaginez lucrand cu constiinciozitate la ele. Probabil verifica informatia in mai multe albume de calatorie, urmand sa faca apoi un rezumat cu traseele, orasele si obiectivele turistice pe gustul ei. M-am emotionat cand le-am gasit prima oara, m-am emotionat si acum rasfoindu-le cu grija. Culmea e ca Baica nu a fost niciodata in tarile descrise in aceste caiete. Si-a facut propriile ghiduri de calatorie, pentru destinatii la care doar a visat, dar pe care nu a apucat sa le vada in realitate niciodata. Regret acum ca nu am mers cu ea la Paris. I-ar fi placut orasul la nebunie, i s-ar fi potrivit. Cand mi-am dorit asta, era deja prea tarziu. Fratele meu, Andrei, medicul, mi-a spus atunci ca nu ar mai rezista nici drumului si ca, oricum, din cauza Alzheimerului nu s-ar fi putut bucura real.

Dar nu vreau nicidecum sa va intristez. Dimpotriva, postarea aceasta e menita sa va inspire “sa calatoriti mult, cat mai mult”! De aceea va scriu mai jos toate detaliile necesare pentru a va inscrie in concursul #SayYesToTheWorld, prin care puteti câștigă bilete de avion pentru voi și încă 10 prieteni, spre orice destinație Lufthansa.

Cred ca prin postarile mele de travel de-a lungul anilor, am adunat aici multi calatori pasionati. Stiti exact senzatia pe care o aveti cand deschideti harta lumii si cautati o noua destinatie… să îți dorești să înțelegi o anumită destinație a lumii, să explorezi, să cunoști, să lași garda jos și să te bucuri de tot ceea ce o nouă destinație îți poate oferi. Dar in mod cert experiența este îmbogățită și datorită oamenilor cu care o împărtășești.

Din acest motiv, campania Lufthansa #SayYesToTheWorld revine într-o nouă formulă: te înscrii în concurs, îți inviți până la 10 prieteni să se înscrie și ei și mergeți împreună în vacanță.

Mecanismul este simplu. Intra pe site-ul campaniei:

• Pune cursorul pe hartă, pe destinația unde ți-ar plăcea să călătorești și înscrie-te în competiție;
• După ce vei confirma participarea la concurs, vei primi pe email un link unic prin care îți poți invita până la 10 prieteni să meargă cu tine în vacanță;
• Trimite linkul prietenilor tăi. Cel puțin un prieten trebuie să confirme înscrierea în concurs.
• Puteți câștiga bilete pentru toată gașca către o destinație operată de Lufthansa, la alegere. Aeroportul de plecare al participanților poate varia, atâta timp cât toate aeroporturile de plecare se află în rețeaua Lufthansa. Numărul maxim de bilete câștigate este de 11 (gazda + încă maxim 10 prieteni). Dacă vei adăuga în concurs doi prieteni de exemplu, și tu vei fi norocosul câștigător, atunci veți câștiga împreună 3 bilete de avion. Tu poți pleca din Berlin, dacă dorești, iar prietenii tăi din București.

Am si cateva ponturi:

1. Trebuie sa te asiguri ca prietenii tai au vazut ca i-ai recomandat in concurs si ca vor intra si ei folosind linkul primit pe email si isi vor confirma datele personale. Ca să intri în concurs trebuie ca cel puțin un prieten de-al tău să confirme participarea.
2. Acelasi prieten poate fi recomandat de mai multe persoane. Spre exemplu: gasca voastra de 11 prieteni se poate inscrie de 11 ori in concurs 🙂

Concursul este valabil până pe 30 noiembrie 2018, iar câștigătorul va fi selectat prin tragere la sorți în decursul a 30 zile de la terminarea concursului.

EN: When I read about this unbelievable contest, I instantly remembered by grandmother’s travel notebooks. I ran over to the library, found them and started going through them. My grandmother from my mother’s side, whom we called Baica, really wanted to travel. She was so excited every time we told her we were leaving somewhere, anywhere, abroad. “Travel a lot, as much as you can!” she used to tell us. These notebooks filled with notes about Spain, France, Italy, England, Switzerland… we found them by accident in her house after she died. I don’t know when she wrote them, but I can imagine her working on them thoroughly. She would probably check the information in multiple travel albums and then make a summary about the itineraries, cities and tourist attractions that were most to her liking. I got very emotional when I found them for the first time, as I am now while carefully going over them. Funny thing is Baica never actually went to any of the countries described in these notebooks. She made her own travel guides, for destinations which she only dreamed of, but which she never got to see in real life. I regret not taking her to Paris. She would have loved that city, it would have suited her. When I wanted that, it was already too late. My brother Andrei then told me she couldn’t handle the trip and that, because of the Alzheimer, she couldn’t really have enjoyed it anyway.   

But I don’t want to make you sad. On the contrary, this post is meant to inspire you “to travel more, as much as you can”! That’s why I’m leaving you below all the necessary details to sign up for the #SayYesToTheWorld contest, through which you can win plane tickets for yourself and 10 friends, to any Lufthansa destination.

I think that through my travel posts over the years, I have gathered many passionate travelers here. You know the feeling when you open the world map and look for a new destination… when you want to understand a certain destination, to explore it, to put down your guard and enjoy everything anew destination has to offer. But the experience is most definitely enriched by the people you share it with.

For this reason, the Lufthansa #SayYesToTheWorld campaign comes back with a new formula: you sign up  for the contest, you invite up to 10 friends to sign up too and go on vacation together.

The mechanism is simple. Go to the campaign website:

• Place the mouse on the map, on the destination you would like to travel to and join the competition;
• After confirming, you’ll receive a unique link on your email through which you can invite up to 10 friends to go on vacation with you;
• Send the link to your friends. At least one friend must confirm also joining the competition.
• You can win tickets for your whole group to a destination of your choice, operated by Lufthansa. The participants’ airport for take off may vary, as long as they are in the Lufthansa network. The maximum number of tickets you can win is 11 (host + maximum 10 friends). If you add two friends to the contest for example, and you will be the lucky winner, then you’ll get 3 tickets all together. You can leave from Berlin, if you want to, and your friends from Bucharest.

I also have a few tips:

1. You have to make sure your friends are aware you nominated them and that they will also sign up by using the link you sent them via email and that they’ll confirm their personal data. To join the contest, at least one of your friends must confirm his/ her participation.  
2. That same friend can also be recommended by other people. For instance: your group of 11 friends can sign up in the contest 11 times 🙂

The contest is available until the 30th of November 2018, and the winner will be selected randomly within 30 days of the end of the contest.
