Provocare!

Mic dejunul in pat este unul dintre cele mai bune lucruri care ti se pot intampla. Aici ma refer desigur la micul dejun atunci cand este facut corespunzator: ca surpriza, intr-o dimineata usor racoroasa si insorita, intr-o zi linistita de weekend. Poate ca din tonul meu usor nostalgic sesizati ca mi-e taaaaare dor de asa ceva, pentru ca nu e niciun mister faptul ca diminetile mele (ca ale oricaror mame!) sunt pline cu varf si indesat de o multime de lucruri, insa de relaxare nu. “O sa ma relaxez cand ajunge adolescent” este mantra din ultima vreme!

 

EN: Breakfast in bed is one of the best things ever. Of course I mean a proper breakfast: as a surprise, on a slightly chilly and sunny morning, on a quiet weekend morning. Maybe you can tell from my nostalgic tone that I really miss something like this, because it’s no mystery that my mornings (as are those of every mother!) are filled with everything except relaxation. “I’ll relax when he’s a teenager” is my mantra lately! 


Date fiind circumstantele, mi s-a parut aproape imposibil sa indeplinesc provocarea Nirvana, aceea de a lua micul dejun in pat si de a incepe cu … desertul! Sa fiu linistita, relaxata si sa fac un maxim de opulenta: sa mananc inghetata la prima ora. La micul dejun! In pat! Intr-o luni, zi plina de o multime de intalniri, drumuri, alergaturi!

Am citit mesajul si am zis ca nu am sa pot. Dar apoi m-am razgandit, pentru ca imi plac provocarile. Asa ca m-am pregatit temeinic pentru acest moment. Mai intai, am dus copilul la gradi. Altfel, cu Vlad calare peste mine dimineata in pat nu prea putem vorbi de un moment de relaxare. Plus ca diminetile cu gradi au un programam riguros, altfel am ajunge direct la somnul de pranz la destinatie. Ne sculam, ne spalam, mancam, ne schimbam si plecam. Vlad stie acum pe de rost etapele, dupa ce i le-am desenat pe perete! Da, da! Doar asa am reusit sa obtinem si noi un timp mai bun si sa ajungem la gradinita doar cu maxim 30 de minunte de intarziere. Deci, cred ca e clar, in cursul diminetii nu e loc de rasfat pentru mine, pentru ca ar insemna sa iesim cu totul din schema. Drept urmare, pentru a duce la bun sfarsit provocarea, era musai sa raman macar 10 minute singura in casa (ma rog, de data asta l-am oprit si pe Radu, cat sa imi faca 2 -3 poze pentru voi).

Asadar, m-am intors acasa de la gradi, m-am schimbat la loc in rochia mea cumparata din Cambodgia (cea mai comoda tinuta din lume!) si m-am cocotat in varful patului cu o inghetata super delicioasa! Desfrau! Am inteles ca americancele mananca inghetata cand se simt deprimate, insa nu ai cum sa fii suparat cand mananci ceva atat de bun! E imposibil. Vorbim de cea mai noua inghetata Nirvana (care a depasit in topul personal Nirvana Pralines & Cream) si anume Nirvana Vanilla, Choco Syrup and Cookies. Daca iti alegi ca intr-o zi aglomerata acesta sa fie momentul tau cu tine, in care nu te gandesti la prea multe lucruri, in care te relaxezi si te gandesti doar ca respiri, ca mananci (inghetata cu bucatele irezistibile de prajitura, sirop de ciocolata si vanilie… yummy yummy), daca esti foarte prezent, e posibil sa iti iasa si o mica meditatie. Si iata: sa mananci Nirvana la micul dejun si sa si meditezi? Incredibil, nu? A fost o experienta minunata, pe care sper sa o repet si in weekend, fara prea multe planificari. In fond parca un rasfat, mai ales cand este nemeritat, dulce si aproape pacatos, este cel mai bun lucru care ti se poate intampla luni dimineata! O lingurita de placere Nirvana, si inca una, si inca…. viata, nene!

V-am spus ca imi plac provocarile! Voi cum va gasiti momentele voastre de zen? Si chiar asa, ati manca o inghetata la micul dejun? Eu una mi-am inceput ziua perfect in acest fel!

P.S.: Data viitoare cand voi repeta acest mic dejun, o voi face – bien sûr – fara Radu si aparatul de fotografiat.

EN: Under these circumstances, I thought it was almost impossible for me to take on the Nirvana challenge, of having breakfast in bed and starting with… desert!  Being relaxed, tranquil and being extremely opulent: having ice cream early in the morning. For breakfast! On a Monday, a day filled with meetings, chores and hectic!

I read the message and I said to myself I couldn’t do it. But then I changed my mind, because I like a good dare. So I prepared thoroughly for this moment. First, I took the kid to kindergarten. Otherwise, with Vlad on top of me in bed in the morning, we can’t really talk about relaxation. Plus our mornings before kindergarten are on a very strict schedule, or we wouldn’t get there until noon. We get up, get washed, we eat, we change and we leave. Vlad knows these steps by heart now, after we drew them on the wall for him! Yes, yes! That’s the only way we managed to get a good time and arrive only 30 minutes late for kindergarten. So, I think it’s clear, there is no time for spoiling myself in the morning, because that would throw us totally off track. Therefore, in order to complete the dare, I had to stay for at least 10 minutes alone in the house (well, this time I also made Radu stay, so he can take 2-3 pictures for you).

So, I came back from kindergarten, I changed back into my dress which I bought from Cambodia (the comfiest outfit in the world!) and I got into bed with a super delicious ice cream! Madness! From what I know, American women eat ice cream when they’re depressed, but you can’t be upset when you’re having something this delicious! It’s impossible. We are talking about the newest Nirvana ice cream (which is on top my list now, even before Nirvana Pralines & Cream) which is called Nirvana Vanilla, Choco Syrup and Cookies. If on a busy day, you decide that this is your moment with yourself, when you don’t think of anything else, when you relax and only think about breathing, eating (ice cream with irresistible cookie chips, chocolate syrup and vanilla… yummy yummy), if you are very present, you might even start meditating. Having Nirvana for breakfast and meditating? Incredible, right? It was a wonderful experience, which I hope to repeat again this weekend, without any plans. A moment of pampering, especially when it’s undeserved, sweet and almost sinful, is the best thing that could happen to you on a Monday morning! A spoonful of Nirvana pleasure, and another one, and another…this is the life, man!

P.S.: Next time I will definitely do this without Radu and the camera.

    La nebunie mi-ar placea sa mananc o inghetata la micul dejun, cred ca ar deveni ziua mea preferata :))). Cred ca ma voi rasfata si eu asa weekendul asta.

    la micul dejun nu prea mananc inghetata, mai degraba seara in fata televiziorului 🙂 deoarece am mai mult timp liber si nu ma grabeste nimeni, am tot timpul din lume 🙂 dimineata prefer sa dorm 10 minute in plus decat sa ma trezesc sa mananc o inghetata 🙂 Nu e sanatoasa inghetata seara, mai recomandabil ar fi dimineata, dar daca e mai rar nu se pune 🙂

      Cumva inghetata noaptea, in fata televizorului eventual, e o imagine aproape clasica 🙂 Pe asta cu inghetata la micul dejun nu o mai incercasem pana acum.

    Imi place la nebunie ingetata Nirvana. Eu prefer sa o mananc noaptea tarziu, atunci reusesc sa ma relaxez cel mai bine!
