Un eveniment care chiar nu trebuie ratat, cu intrare libera: pe 26 mai, in Parcul Unirii, de la ora 21.15, se desfasoara probabil cel mai frumos picnic al anului din Bucuresti, pe acorduri vieneze: Vienna Summer Night Concert. Suna mi-nu-nat!

EN: An event you can’t miss, with free entrance: on May 26^th, in Unirii Park, at 21.15, probably the most beautiful picnic of the year in Bucharest will take place: Vienna Summer Night Concert. Sounds lo-ve-ly!

EN: The Vienna Office for Tourism in collaboration with the Philharmonic Orchestra from Vienna are organizing a night time picnic, with blankets, but also raincoats if necessary, so that you can lie down, close your eyes and let yourselves get carried away by the sounds of the Vienna orchestra. For the first time in Bucharest, you can watch a live open-air transmission from the Gardens of the Schoenbrunn Castle. The program includes pieces by Georges Bizet, Hector Berlioz, Francis Poulenc and Maurice Ravel.

As I said above, the entrance is free, and – I would add- the magic of the night guaranteed. The concert is part of a series of exclusive events organized according to the motto of the New Year: „2017: al ritmo di Vienna“, placing the music capital, Vienna, in the limelight.

Our dear Bucharest represents one of the 4 European cities which are broadcasting the concert live starting with 21:15, together with Madrid, London and Monza. I can’t tell you how happy I am about such events and how dear it is to me to tell you about them on the blog. And if you will be in Unirii Park on Thursday evening, you can also check out the interactive musical game NAMADEUS, which turns the names of the players into music, transforming them into an original interpretation of Mozart.
