Ca in fiecare toamna, avem o multime de optiuni care vin sa updateze garderoba. Ce alegem? Eu ma trezesc in fiecare sezon rece ca imi cumpar pulovere, pe care le iubesc, insa mi-am dat seama ca pur si simplu nu mai am loc de ele in dulap! In plus, imi plac foarte mult cele pe care le am deja, asa ca este clar ca tot ce trebuie sa fac este o lista clara de ce am nevoie, ca sa nu cad in capcana absolut fireasca a lui “ua, ce frumos e puloverul asta, ma vad maine iesind la brunch in el!”. Am zis ca poate va folositi si voi de aceasta lista si astept sa o impartasiti si pe a voastra cu mine.

 

EN: As usual each Fall, we have tons of options to upgrade our wardrobe. What do we choose? In each cold season I end up buying sweaters, which I love, but I have come to realize that I just don’t have room for them in my closet anymore! And also, I really like those I already own, so it’s clear that I have to do is a clear list of what I need, so I don’t fall in the absolutely natural trap of “wow, this sweater is so beautiful, I really see my self going out for brunch tomorrow in it!”. I thought you might also use this list and I am waiting for you to share yours with me.

Capitolul acesta e cel mai economicos. In cel mai rau caz o sa cheltuiti niste timp scormonind prin dulap.

Toamna aceasta se poarta trench-urile supra-dimensionate si lungi. Regula este cu cat mai mare, cu atat mai bine. O sa vedeti o multime de variante prin magazine, insa recomandarea este sa cautati in dulapul parintilor vostri. Aveti sanse mari sa gasiti ceva la tatii vostri, pentru ca aceste trenciuri erau foarte la moda in anii ’90. Nu e o problema ca este foarte larg, folositi cu incredere curelele de la incheieturi pentru a ridica usor maneca si desigur cordonul din talie pentru a marca talia. Eu insa va recomand sa le purtati deschise, nonsalant, alaturi de o pereche de pantaloni larguti, de costum, usor prea lungi si cu o pereche de tenisi albi. Daca nu aveti noroc de un tata dandy, magazinele de second hand va ofera si ele o gramada de variante la preturi foarte micute. Precum ziceam, aveti nevoie doar de niste timp.

De asemenea rochiile inflorate sunt IN – le poti gasi in dulapul mamei tale sau chiar al bunicii. Iar daca nu sunt acolo, sigur sunt intr-un second. Pe acestea le poti purta cu niste botine albe din piele (ideal) sau cu botine supraelastice in culori vibrante, care sa faca un contrast cat mai mare cu rochia.

Daca insisti sa cumperi, iata aici si aici niste optiuni.

In loc sa fie vorba de culorile tipice de toamna, la care ne gandim cand se face racoare afara, toamna asta este despre culori vibrante. Verde, roz, galben, rosu aprins – toate solare si foarte interesante. Asa ca poti alege un pulover intr-una dintre aceste culori sau poti cumpara un costum. Costumele sunt un alt trend foarte cool al toamnei: incearca unul rosu sau roz si poarta-l casual: cu un tricou alb, o pereche de tenisi sau niste sandale cu toc. In niciun caz nu il duce intr-o zona eleganta, pentru ca va parea un styling fortat. De data aceasta pantalonii raman cat mai lungi, nu ii mai ducem la croitor. Ideal ei vor acoperi totul mai putin varful (Ascutit) al unui stiletto clasic intr-o culoare intensa.

Un alt trend ale carui declinari sunt accesibile sunt botinele albe. Ai grija totusi sa fie din piele ca sa le poti curata usor si poarta-le cu blugi care lasa glezna la vedere, cu fuste in A si in general cam cu orice, asa cum ai purta niste botine negre. In mod garantat o sa iti updateze garderoba cu un minim de efort!

Unele lucruri nu se pot obtine decat cu un buget ceva mai mare si toamna aceasta exista piese IT care merita investitia. Poate ca nu sunt neaparat cele mai versatile, dar in mod sigur te vor face fericita si te vor face sa te simti IN. Cizmele peste genunchi sunt exact piesa de rezistenta a toamnei. Nu e vorba de cele pe care le ai deja: cizmele lui 2017 sunt cea mai mare exagerare fashionista a anului! Sunt brodate, cu piciorul foarte larg si usor adunate, cu un toc cui subtire si un bot ascutit – arata si funny si sexy. Si sunt foarte, foarte lungi astfel incat ajung cel putin pana la jumatatea coapsei. Cu ce le porti? Cu fuste sau rochii midi seara sau cu blugi cu talia foarte inalta si cu un tricou alb, simplu, ca si cand stii, nu-ti prea pasa, chiar daca ai stat o ora sa te imbraci!

This chapter is the most economical- the most you’ll spend will be of your time cramming through your closet.

This Fall oversized and long trench coats are in trend – the rule is the bigger, the better. You’ll se plenty of options in the stores, but the recommendation is to go through your parents’ closet. Chances are you’ll find something of your father’s, because these trench coats were very fashionable in the ’90s.  It’s not a problem if it’s too wide, use the belts from your wrists to slightly short the arm length and of course the waist belt to highlight your figure. I for one recommend you wear them open, careless, with a pair of wider and slightly too long suit pants and a pair of white sneakers. If you’re not lucky enough to have a dandy dad, second hand shops offer plenty of options for very low prices. As I said, all you need is time.

Also, flower print dresses are IN – you can find them in your mother’s or even grandmother’s closet. And if they’re not there, they’re most definitely in a second hand shop. You can wear these with a pair of white ankle leather boots (ideal) or white stretch ankle boots in vibrant colors, to highlight the contrast with the dress.

Save up!

Instead of being about typical autumn colors, which we think of when it’s chilly outside, this fall is about vibrant colors. Green, pink, yellow, bright red- all solar and very interesting. So you can choose a sweater in one of these colors or you can buy a suit. Suits are another very cool trend of this Fall: try a red or pink one and wear it casual: with a white t-shirt, a pair of sneakers or heel sandals. But don’t, under any circumstances, take it to an elegant zone, because it will look like a forced styling. This time the pants stay as long as possible, we don’t take them to the tailor anymore. Ideally they will cover everything except for the (pointy) top of a classic stiletto in a vibrant color.  

Another trend whose declinations are accessible are white ankle boots. Be careful though that they are made from leather so you can clean them easily and wear them with jeans which allow your ankles to be visible, with A-shaped skirts and basically with just about anything, just as you would with black ankle boots. They will definitely update your wardrobe with minimum effort!

Go crazy!

You can only go that far on a tight budget and this Fall there are certain IT pieces really worth investing in. Maybe they aren’t necessarily the most versatile ones, but they will definitely make you feel happy and IN. Above the knees boots are exactly the main piece of resistance this autumn. I’m not talking about those you already own: the boots of 2017 are the biggest fashion exaggeration of the year! They are embroidered, with a very wide leg, with a slick heel and sharp top- they look both funny and sexy. And they are very, very long, meaning they reach at least the half of your thigh. What do you wear them with? With midi skirts or dresses in the evening and very high waist jeans and a white t-shirt, like you know, but don’t really care, even though it took you an hour to get dressed!
