La noi a venit Mos Nicolae!

Ce dimineata fericita! Azi noapte am pregatit ghetutele, o cacao pentru Mos Nicolae, apoi ne-am culcat sperand ca ne va aduce cadoul dorit. Perfectu’ meu i-a cerut Mosului doua acadele si un steag al Romaniei.

EN: What a happy morning! Last night we prepared our boots, a cocoa for St Nicholas, then we went to bed hoping he will bring the gift we wished for. My Perfect one asked for two lollipops and a Romanian flag. 

De cateva saptamani il tot asteptam pe Mos Nicolae, cel care aduce cadouri in ghetute. Vlad s-a gandit si s-a razgandit, dar intr-un final s-a decis cu privire la cadoul lui: doua acadele si un steag. Initial a zis ca vrea o acadea, dar apoi a cerut cat se poate de clar, in repetate randuri, doua acadele: “Una rosie si una mov”. Nu i-a fost usor Mosului sa le gaseasca in aceste culori, dar dupa indelungi cautari, a reusit sa ii puna intr-o ghetuta acadeaua rosie si in cealalta pe cea mov. In plus, impresionat fiind de toate steguletele de 1 dec din oras, Vlad si-a mai dorit sa primeasca si el unul “micut”. Am zis ca daca va vrea la un moment dat sa candideze la presedentie, chestia asta se noteaza si se exploateaza de un PR politic bun: “La 2 ani si-a dorit ca Mosul sa ii aduca steagul patriei”. Singura mica problema e ca daca il intrebi ce culori are steagul, iti va raspunde ca “Red, Yellow si Blue”, si se va duce de rapa tot patriotismul…

Revenind la acadele, pot spune ca m-a emotionat extraordinar de mult. De dimineata le-a gasit fericit in ghetute, a remarcat ca una e rosie si cealalta e mov, exact asa cum si-a dorit, si atunci mi-a spus: “Mov e pentru fetite, rosie e pentru baieti. Cea mov e a ta, mama.” Aaaaaa….. el si-a dorit doua ca sa le mancam impreuna!!! I-a cerut lui Mos Nicolae una si pentru mine, iar eu habar nu am avut. Deci, Mos Nicolae exista!

Pentru ca a fost extrem de cuminte, a mai primit plastelina si 2 carti cu numere si masini. Va lasam acum, caci inca mai e atmosfera aceea de sarbatoare in casa, pe care nu vrem sa o pierdem.

P.S.: Urmeaza sa fac extragerea pentru canapea, nu am uitat!

EN: We have been waiting for St. Nicholas, the one who puts gifts in our boots, for a couple of weeks now. Vlad thought about it and changed his mind a lot, before he decided what his present should be: two lollipops and a flag. First he said he wanted one lollipop, but then he asked very clearly and repeatedly for two lollipops: “One red and one purple.” It wasn’t easy for St. Nicholas to find them in these colors, but after long searches, he managed to put the red lollipop in one boot and the purple one in the other shoe. Plus, since he was very impressed with the flags in town for the 1st of December, Vlad also wanted to have “a small one”. We thought that if one day he should decide to run for President, this will could be exploited as good political PR: “When he was 2 years old he wanted St Nicholas to bring him his nation’s flag”. The only small problem is that if you ask him what color the flag is, he will answer in English, and the entire patriotism goes down the drain…  

Back to the lollipops, I can say I was really touched. In the morning he was very happy to find them in his boots, he noticed one is red and the other one purple, just like he wanted, and then he said: “Purple is for girls, red is for boys. The purple one is yours, mom.” Aaaaa….he wanted two so we could eat them together!!! He asked St Nicholas for one for me too, and I had no idea. So, St Nicholas is real!  

Since he was very good, he also got some play-doh and 2 books with numbers and cars. Now we must leave you, because we still have that holiday feeling in our home, which we don’t want to miss out on.
